Our Story

GS Gastro GmbH was founded in 2021 and has since developed into a major player in catering supplies. Our rapid growth is mainly due to our commitment to quality and variety. Within a year of being founded, we began to successfully distribute both regional and international products, including packaging, food, frozen goods and hygiene items.

Since 2023, we have been a family-friendly company certified by the Saarland Chamber of Industry and Commerce. This certification reflects our commitment to promoting a harmonious work-life balance. In addition, we attach great importance to sustainability and climate friendliness. Our logistics strategies are designed to minimize environmental impact by ensuring that our trucks are always optimally utilized.

Our range includes up to 1000 different products. With a deep-freeze and cold store offering a total of 300 m² of storage space, as well as a 3000 m² warehouse in three separate halls, we are able to efficiently store and distribute a wide range of products.

Our internal pick-up market, which is organized as a cash & carry market, offers restaurateurs the opportunity to obtain their goods immediately and without waiting. This represents a significant advantage for our customers, as they can replenish their supplies quickly and easily.

Our close cooperation with the state government and our recognition as a family-friendly company by the Saarland Chamber of Industry and Commerce in 2023 underline our commitment to social responsibility and sustainable business.

Our team is characterized by its dynamism and positivity. It includes a purchasing department, an accounting department and a sales office that work together to ensure we provide the highest standard of customer service and product quality.

Our centrally located site in the Völklingen West industrial area (Völklingen/Klarenthal) is ideally accessible for customers from Saarland as well as from the neighboring countries France and Luxembourg. Our pick-up market is easily accessible via the "Klarenthal" motorway exit on the A620, which has contributed to the successful establishment of our business model.
